Sleeping Giant State Park - miles of interconnected trails. Take the tower trail for 3 miles of gravel path or go rock scrambling on the white trail
East Rock Park - walk 1.3 miles up a paved street to the monument overlooking downtown New Haven
Bear Mountain - drive 90 minutes to Mt. Riga State park to take on a challenging 6 miles loop up the Appalachian trail to the highest point in CT. There is no better way to take in the fall foliage.
Follow one of the state foliage driving routes. The northwest and northeast corners of the state will be in peak foliage with the southern coast still approaching peak.
