It’s funny how life works sometimes. You think you’ve got everything figured out, and then, when you least expect it, something (or someone) comes along that changes everything. Our story started thanks to a little help from our friends. At the time, neither of us was actively looking for love. Megan was happily enjoying life on her own, focused on her goals. I was working, traveling, and open to possibilities. One evening, a group of friends organized a casual night out. Megan had no idea, but it was a carefully planned opportunity for us to meet. I was a little nervous but excited—I had heard all about her, and now we finally had the chance to talk in person. What happened next surprised both of us. The conversation just flowed. It wasn’t forced, and there was no pressure. We found ourselves talking about everything—movies, life, and even our goals for the future. By the end of the night, we both realized something special had happened. The very next day, I invited Megan to a party, and it wasn’t just any party—it was another opportunity for us to spend more time together, and it worked! We spent hours talking again, and by the end of the night, it was clear that this connection was more than just a chance encounter. It felt effortless, natural, and genuine. Over the next few weeks, we kept in touch, hung out more, and the bond between us grew stronger with each conversation. Neither of us was actively searching for love, but sometimes that’s exactly when it finds you. We feel incredibly grateful that our paths crossed, and we can’t help but laugh at how our friends played matchmakers behind the scenes. Their planning led to something we couldn’t have imagined at the time. Now, we’re here—excited to start this next chapter together as we get ready to say “I do.” We know it wasn’t just luck that brought us together—it was meant to be. And we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives making more memories, sharing adventures, and building a future together. Thank you for being part of our journey!
