Our Wedding

Nick &amp; Megan’s story began with a simple swipe right on a dating app. We both enjoyed messaging one another, but were eager to meet in person. Nick invited Megan over to his home where they finally met face to face. Megan also got to be loved bombed by the famous Daisy on their first meeting. Being that they met on a dating site that didn’t show last names, Megan saw that Nick had a sign that read “Shalom” in his kitchen. Megan misread it and asked if that was his last name? He laughed and asked what she thinks that says. Megan mispronounced the word and Nick let her know what it actually says. That was not his last name, and he in fact is not Jewish. This turned into their favorite story of describing how they first met. Nicks easy going personality made Megan feel safe to be herself. Nick realized on day 1 that Megan could talk, and for over four years he’s listened (mostly). Meeting for the first time led to meeting together more and more throughout the weeks. After a few months they both made the decision to move in together. Neither one of them had lived with a significant other before but it all went smooth! There’s nothing to it, when you get to wake up to your bestfriend everyday. A few months later they decided to get Daisy a sister and now have miss Sammie. It’s safe to say that she keeps them on their toes. Nick and Megan have attended supercross, motocross, the zoo, camping trips, weddings, and many adventures together. On November 11th of 2024 Nick decided to make it a forever adventure when he got down on one knee and proposed to Megan on the bridge where he took her on their first hike together in Kennedy Meadows. The weather was chilly, so naturally Megan was complaining the whole way up the mountain. Nick kept convincing Megan to keep going so she did and boy did she not regret that! Since the engagement the couple has grown in their careers, bought their forever home and continued to go on adventures with the biggest one yet coming in June. We are so, very excited to embark on this new journey of becoming the Herrons.
