It was a summer evening on August 14th, 2019 when Jesse found himself at Hutchins Garage, a pizza place in Durham, NC. He was patiently waiting for a girl that he had connected with on an online dating app. Megan was running late per usual, caught in the chaos of downtown parking and talking to a friend on the phone for a little too long. As the minutes ticked by, Jesse couldn't help but wonder if she was going to show up. Then, like a whirlwind, Megan arrived, slightly flustered but undeniably captivating.

From that moment on, the sparks flew. Their first date took them to an arcade bar- Boxcar. As they triumphed over another couple in arcade games, it became clear that Jesse and Megan had something truly special. Their chemistry was so undeniable that the other couple mistook them for long-term partners.

From that day forward, their love story blossomed. Whether dancing under the stars at concerts or exploring new cities, Jesse and Megan's bond only grew stronger with each passing day.

On May 30th, 2023 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Jesse proposed to Megan during a trip with her family. Prior to the vacation, Jesse sought the blessing of Megan's father at a sports bar (Glory Days- of course.) To his delight, Stuart not only gave his approval but toasted with a round of shots.

Fast forward to the big day, McKenzie, Megan's sister, had been in on planning the picturesque proposal with Jesse. To what Megan thought was going to be a family photoshoot on the beach was a beautiful proposal. Watching from their room balcony, Megan's parents witnessed the scene. Shortly after, a brief rain shower was followed by the appearance of a beautiful rainbow that filled the sky.

The family toasted the joyous occasion with champagne and were serenaded by a mariachi band later performing in the resort's lobby, creating a perfect ending to a magical day!
