Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, between the world-famous Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake; total seclusion on a 50-acre hideout.
A parking attendant will be available on site for valet parking and transportation to and from sites will be provided.
Ceremony in an open air chapel; located in a valley allowing for cooling air flow
Reception in the historic barn, located around the block from the chapel - travel to and from the ceremony and reception will be provided!
We will have an early dinner, dessert, and time for games, dancing, and s'mores! Reception MUST end by 11:00pm per venue request.

Property Ground Rules & Guidelines (Per Venue Requests):
- No use or possession of weapons of any kind allowed anywhere on the property.
- No illegal drugs or paraphernalia allowed anywhere on the property.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the buildings. There are designated smoking areas with smoke poles for depositing butts. If an excessive amount of butts are found on the property, including but not limited to the lodge/barn/chapel areas, it will be determined excessive cleanup, and will result in a deduction from said deposit to cover such cleanup.
- Damage to any room, space, furnishings, and/or equipment by the Client(s) or its guests, or vendors will result in deduction from said deposit, or if greater damage costs is beyond amount of said deposit, then the Client(s) will be charged accordingly. These charges are based on fair market cost of replacement, repair or additional cleaning.
- Sunset Ridge Farm Events takes no responsibility for personal items damaged or left on the premises before during, or after the event. We do, however, maintain a lost and found and will hold recovered items for up to thirty (30) days. Every attempt will be made to return any recovered items to their owners at owner’s expense.
- All children under the age of 18 MUST be supervised at all times and are not permitted around ponds, or swimming pools, without the supervision of an adult.
- Fires are only permitted in the existing fire pits. No Chinese lanterns or anything that contains a flame. Candles must be stationary and enclosed in non-flammable containers such as votives or glass vases.
Venue Guidelines (Per Venue Requests:):
- PLEASE DO NOT WALK ON/THROUGH WILDFLOWERS
- PLEASE DO NOT PICK WILDFLOWERS
- No food or drinks are permitted inside the chapel (with the exception of the bottled water)
- No food or drinks are permitted inside any of the shuttles, including buses, vans, suburban, gold cart, etc.
- No smoking/vaping permitted past the sidewalk of the chapel or inside the chapel. (There is a designated smoking area in front of the warehouse close to the chapel by the smoking pole. Please deposit all cigarette butts there)
- Please do not stand on tables and/or chairs
- Rice, confetti, or glitter is not permitted.
- Real (live) flower petals are not allowed for use on floors inside Chapel or on Chapel sidewalk, or any other ceremony or Barn reception areas due to them sticking to concrete and causing major cleaning issues.
- You may use artificial petals, but are required to remove them from the area immediately following the ceremony so that they do not end up in the wildflower fields, that cannot be walked on.
- No Chinese lanterns or anything that contains a flame. Candles must be stationary and enclosed in non-flammable containers such as votives or glass vases.
- No bubbles inside Chapel, sidewalk, or barn, they are permitted on the grassy and graveled areas.
Reception Guidelines (Per Venue Requests):
- No one, including Bride, Groom, Bridal Party, Family, Friends etc. is allowed inside bar area. If someone is found in that area besides the bartender, caterer, or staff member, they will be ask to leave the area.
- The catering service or Bar Service, and its agent will exercise due care in serving alcoholic beverages, and will refuse service to any person appearing to be under the age of 21 or any person who appears to be intoxicated. Identification and proof of age will be requested from any person who appears to be under 21 years of age.
- The staff of Sunset Ridge Fame Events holds the rights to refuse alcohol to any persons whom they so choose at any given time, and will be monitoring the bar activity while bar is open. Alcoholic beverages will be removed from anyone believed to be a minor or from any intoxicated person.
- THERE IS A NO SHOT POLICY! Kegs are not permitted. Illegal substances are not allowed at any time on the premises. Drunken/Violent disturbances are prohibited, and subject to immediate removal from the premises, and possible termination of the event without refund.
The Lodge Guidelines (Per Venue Requests:):
- The allowed number of cars parked at lodge at one given time is 4
- The furniture in the lodge must remain in place and may not be moved. If the pool table is moved at all, the said security deposit of $500.00 will be forfeited, for damage to the floor, and the cost of having a company level back the slate that will shift, if moved the slightest bit.
- The piano is strictly only for use during indoor intimate weddings, and must not be played or moved.
- Windows and doors must remain closed at all times to insure the heat/air units can perform as needed to make the lodge comfortable, cause any excessive costs, and prevent insects etc. from entering, which can result in extra pest control services.
Swimming Pool Guidelines (Per Venue Requests):
- Posted rules for the swimming pool must be followed at all times by Client(s) and their Guest(s), who release Sunset Ridge Farm Events from any liability for bodily injury.
- Damage to the swimming pool or its surroundings will cause deductions from the said security deposit, and if greater damage costs is beyond amount of said deposit, then the Client(s) will be charged accordingly. The pool can be heated to your desired temperature, and the Client(s) would be responsible for the cost of the gas used during your stay.
