Haylie and Megan met at Young Adults and instantly hit it off. Megan loves Haylie’s hilarious sense of humor, her unexpected talent for rapping Justin Bieber, and the way she shows up with so much intentionality and generosity. One of the sweetest moments in their friendship? Megan got to baptize Haylie. Their bond keeps growing as they walk through life (and faith) together.

Junita and Megan met at Elim and instantly became friends. Junita is a steady, generous presence—always showing up with baked goods when Megan is sick, stressed, or just because. The two share a love for reading and have been memorizing Scripture together while encouraging one another in their walks with Christ.

Jessica and Megan met in Saskatoon while Jess was studying at the local Bible college. Since then, they’ve started a sweet tradition—an annual trip to Sylvan Lake every summer to spend intentional time together. Jessica is full of joy and has been a steady source of wisdom in Megan’s life. Even though their friendship is now long-distance, Megan is incredibly thankful for Jess and all the memories they continue to make.

Sasha is Julien’s sister, and she actually met Megan before Julien and Megan started dating. Sasha proudly takes credit for convincing Julien to ask Megan out. Sasha radiates light and has a deep love for life and people. Though she claims to be introverted, she’s always the most outgoing in the room—making sure everyone feels seen, valued, and included. Megan feels incredibly lucky to be gaining a sister like Sasha

Téa and Megan met at their Young Adults Life Group. They became quick friends. Téa has a bubbly and joy-filled personality that makes it easy to spend hours together. They spend their time going for long walks with her son, trying to find open houses (but they're closed), working out together, or just chatting about life. Téa is a steady friend and Megan is excited for their future together and for Téa's kids to be babysat by Auntie Megan and Uncle Julien.

Julien and Enoc met at their church life group where they immediately connected. Bonding over how they are both new to Saskatoon and sharing similar political and faith values, it was easy to be friends. Enoc always has been an easy person to talk to. Whether it be in a parking lot late in the evening, a very long 17.5 hour drive to Vancouver, or on barstools over a beer, he always kept an open ear. Enoc also would like to take some credit in Julien and Megans relationship forming as he had suggested Megan to Julien a few times as a possible relationship. Julien was apart of Enoc's wedding party and now feels honoured to share the same experience with him.

Bailey was Julien's first friend when moving to Saskatoon. Julien and Bailey first interacted with each other at a youth meeting Bailey was leading. Bailey laughed at Julien when asking 'what kind of sports do you play?' for an icebreaker game. Julien and Bailey became friends instantly and continued to serve/lead in the youth ministry together. Julien is especially thankful for the intentional conversations they have together and wrestling/growing in their faith over long walks.

Elijah is Julien's oldest friend dating back to 4 years old. Going through all of primary and secondary school, even moving to Saskatoon a year after Julien did, the two have been with each other through it all. Having so many memories together Julien can't think of anyone else who is more fit to be in his wedding party than Eli. Julien is extremely thankful for his loyalty and all the times together.

Eddie and Julien met at church. With their mutual love for mixed martial arts and UFC, they have created a tradition to go watch UFC at their favorite spot whenever possible. Eddie is a contagious ball of fun energy and will always fill the room up with light and laughter which Julien is always reminded of when they are together.

Matt and Julien met at young adults and became good friends after a river adventure together. Matt is always down to hangout when he isn't working and loves doing anything outdoorsy. Julien is especially thankful for Matt's consistency in his life here in the big city. Julien was apart of Matt's wedding party and is honoured to return the favour to him.
