We are excited to share that for anyone attending our wedding, there will be free admission to Grounds For Sculpture the day of the ceremony! We suggest packing some sneakers and coming early to walk the grounds. As a museum, sculpture garden, and arboretum all rolled into one, Grounds for Sculpture has 42 acres of some of the most breathtaking art in New Jersey. Come for the sculptures and stay for the love (and appetizers).

Forget everything MTV has ever told you about the Jersey Shore and spend the day at the beach! With white sand beaches and picturesque lighthouses around every corner, it's no wonder why New Yorkers shlep their sunscreen to our shores every summer :). A go-to for our summer fun is Island Beach State Park. Don't like the sand between your toes? This spot is also home to the state's largest osprey colony if bird watching is more your thing.

Yeah, yeah Jersey is wonderful...but did you know that you'll be only a train ride away from one of the GREATEST CITIES ON EARTH? After living in NYC for a decade I can now confidently inform anyone on the best place to get dumplings, the dreamiest museums to visit, and the subway stations to visit if you're feeling adventurous.

Love the idea of the Brooklyn Bridge but don't actually want to go all the way to Brooklyn? Forget everything I said in the last post and just head over to Stacy Park in Trenton where you can walk over the Shaky Bridge. It was built by John Roebling (the man behind the Brooklyn Bridge). Twice as fun without any of the fear of being hit by a bicyclist!

Just a short drive away from our wedding venue are the towns of New Hope and Lambertville. With antiques, cafes, and some of the best vintage shops around New Hope and Lambertville make for a wonderful day trip while in Jersey. On Wednesday mornings there is an AMAZING flea market open at a spot called the Golden Nugget, which is one of our favorite haunts.

Home to some of the oldest (and hippest) venues in New Jersey, Asbury Park is all about the music! Well...that and food and great events and a beautiful boardwalk and a fun beach...
