It’s Fall 2014 and Megan, per usual, is very satisfied with herself. She had just finished giving a riveting speech on leadership during her company's monthly book club, and she was sure she'd clearly articulated all of the necessary points, aptly leading the conversation into a higher phase of discussion. Just as she leaned back to bask in the complimentary comments to follow, the new girl across the room casually raised her hand to respond. Not only did she not compliment Megan, she proceeded to deconstruct Megan’s argument entirely in front of 40 of their co-workers. Irritated but intrigued, Megan followed Mandy to her desk after the meeting and asked her to lunch to continue the conversation. The in-depth (and somewhat heated) conversation that followed later that week at the local Chipotle sparked a friendship and discussion that has never stopped.

Since this first encounter, Megan and Mandy have traveled to eight countries together, logged hundreds of miles on their road bikes, visited too many breweries, and made over 400 bowls of popcorn.
