Shaver Lake is located in the Sierra National Forest of Fresno County, California, at an elevation 5,500 ft in the San Joaquin Valley. The town of Shaver Lake California borders its southwestern shore. Shaver Lake is 50 miles northeast of Fresno, California. Pine forests on the granite mountains of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in the Sierra National Forest hug Shaver Lake, full of sapphire blue waters.

They offer boat rentals, jet skies, and Kayaks. You can beach swim and relax on the sand. The town has a few restaurants. We like: Shaver Pizza and The Pub n Grub.

The closest beach to Fresno. Make it a day trip or stay the night. Pismo Beach, a classic beach town, is located on California’s famous central coast, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along Pacific Coast and 101 Highways. We offer long white beaches for taking a pleasant stroll or for just enjoying the spectacular views of the Pismo Beach sunset
