Our story began in college, where we first crossed paths through mutual friends at a Halloween party in 2020. There was an instant connection, and we would drive an hour every weekend to see each other (Gabe in Moorhead, MN & Meghan in Grand Forks, ND), And on December 31st, 2020 we began dating after I, Meghan, asked Gabe to be my boyfriend at Krolls Diner in Fargo, ND!


After graduating college in 2021, Gabe was offered a job at Minnewaska Area Schools in Glenwood, MN to teach 7th grade social studies, and I soon followed, becoming their 4-12 media center specialist in 2022. Together, we have been in the Pope county community for almost 4 years now - buying our house in Starbuck in 2022, and welcoming home a handful of pets (2 dogs and 4 cats)!


As time passed, our love only grew stronger, leading us to take the next big step in our journey together—to get married! We became engaged on August 24th, 2024, exactly 1 day after I, Meghan, returned home from Italy... and totally wasnt jetlagged ;)


And so, our story is one of friendship, love, and the beautiful life we’ve built together. We can’t wait to see what the future holds, hand in hand, side by side.
