If you're a brewery fan, check out Northeast Minneapolis. It's a short uber ride away (or check out Metro Transit!) from the downtown area. Grab a friend and bounce around to a few breweries in the area - many within walking distance of each other!

About 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, you will find a chain of lakes that is very popular in the summer months. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a kayak or paddle board and explore the area from the water. With a whole network of bike and pedestrian paths, you can also simply walk/bike/rollerblade around the lakes if that's more your vibe.
