Parking
There are alternate parking options available if choose not to park at your desired hotel (or if you are not staying in a hotel!). Downtown Minneapolis offers a multitude of parking options. Check out parking availability here:
Metro Transit
If you're trying to get from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International airport to downtown Minneapolis, or if you're trying to make your way to downtown Minneapolis from elsewhere in the Metro area, be sure to check out Metro Transit for more affordable riding options. Light rail and/or bus services are available. The Metro Transit website has a trip planner tool that you should certainly take advantage of if you are unfamiliar with The Twin Cities and the available public transportation routes.
Uber/Lyft
Uber and Lyft are both available in and around the Twin Cities.
Depending on time of day/demand, an Uber or Lyft from MSP to downtown Minneapolis will probably be in the $50 range (about a 20 minute ride, traffic dependent). Uber and Lyft can of course get you elsewhere in the Twin Cities as well should you decide to explore a little!
