West Rock South Overlook
Go for a more adventurous hike in Connecticut's largest state park. Or drive the car to the top and get a great view of New Haven and Long Island Sound.

Ride or walk along the Farmington Canal Trail that stretches from New Haven up to Massachusetts!
Wooster Square Park
Wooster street in New Haven is home of the pizza! Check out Little Italy, New Haven style. Wonderful brownstones surround the park, just outside downtown New Haven. Walk down Court St. (pictured above) and take it straight from or to the New Haven Green.
Go to the beach!
New Haven, West Haven, Milford, Branford, and Guilford are all homes of lovely beaches. Bring your swim gear and do some research, each beach has it's own car parking costs for out of towners.
Try a local beer!
Favorite breweries in the area include Counterweight Brewing, Twelve Percent Beer Project, Stony Creek Brewery (pictured above), Armada Brewing, New England Brewing Co., East Rock Brewing, and so many more!
