We met in August, 2016 while we were both living in Charleston, SC. We enjoyed three years of living by the beach and exploring the history of the Low Country.

In June 2019, we moved to Brian's home state of West Virginia to be closer to both of our families.

In 2021, we built our first house together. It's been an adventure working to make it a home and deciding which project to tackle next.

This past May, Brian proposed! In between a visit to Gettysburg and Harper's Ferry, we stopped for a break along the Shenandoah River. It was a beautiful spot for a proposal, and I happily said "yes"!
