After 3 years of living in Charleston SC, we decided it was time to move home. We had great times in Charleston, including this Riverdogs baseball game, but we missed being close to our families.

We were excited to celebrate our first Thanksgiving in West Virginia with Brian's kids and family.

In January 2021, we purchased a lot and started building our first home together! We moved in at the end of July.

We've loved being able to explore WV with the kids. Visiting the mountains near Thomas and Davis, especially in the Jeep, is a favorite fall activity.

Valley Falls is one of our favorite places to visit and take visitors.

On a trip through Gettysburg, Antietam and Harper's Ferry, we got engaged! Brian picked a beautiful spot on the Shenandoah River to propose.

Being home in WV means we get to take the kids on lots of new adventures, including their first roller coasters at Kennywood!

We've enjoyed being close to our families in Ohio and Michigan. It's allowed to to spend time celebrating weddings, birthdays and other family get togethers.
