Meghan and Max met in June 2017, the summer after they had both just graduated high school. Although they spent a lot of time together that summer, they both knew that they were starting new chapters and had no plans of making anything official between the two of them. However, soon after leaving for college, Max confessed (via snapchat) how much he missed Meghan, and the feelings were mutual. during thanksgiving break that year, the two rekindled and spent all of their days together, making themselves "exclusive" (a term the parents could never understand.) on January 8th, 2018, max asked meghan to be his girlfriend.

eventually the two young love birds both transferred to ISU where they would spend 3 college years together, graduate together, get their first adult jobs, adopt their first pup, and buy their first home together. growing together through some of the best times and hardest times, their unwavering love has been consistent through it all.

in 2024, max and meghan went on a family vacation to Maui, Hawaii with Max's family. max had a plan to propose, unbeknownst to Meghan. although a plan had been set for months, max was so nervous when they arrived that he tried to change the entire plan and propose on day one! fortunately, his family talked him out of that. on april 11, 2024 after getting ready for what meghan thought was for family christmas card photos, she ended up experiencing the proposal of her dreams on the beaches of Maui.

Max and Meghan are so excited for their next chapter and can't wait to celebrate with the people they love the most.
