What is the dress code or attire for the ceremony?
The most popular question! Its most likely going to be pretty hot and humid in July. We want everyone to be comfortable in the high temps but also look their personal best. We ask that you wear cocktail attire which includes collared shirts and dresses. Shorts are acceptable but we would like to request no jeans.
What events can children attend?
We only ask that children under 12 attend the Kid's Club during the ceremony in order for parents to attend the ceremony at 5:00 on July 5th. They are welcome to attend the reception to follow and the rest of the events.
What should you bring?
July in the Dominican is known to have temps between 75 -90 degrees with occasional showers. Bring plenty of sunscreen, beach apparel, your passport, small bills for gratuity, floats and rafts (the resort has a place to inflate them) or you can buy them there, and pack any medications in your carryon in case it gets lost. It should also be noted that the resort rooms have a very open layout which doesn't allow for much privacy. If you want more privacy previous guests recommended bringing something to hang as a divider in the bathroom. Neck fans or small travel fans could also help with fighting the heat.
What does it mean if I have a "club level" room?
This means this part of the resort is strictly adults only. You will have a different wristband that allows you access to the adults only section. These rooms also come with a personal butler that can make reservations, bring you food or alcohol of your preference etc. The family section of the resort will have a different bracelet and not have access to this side.
Livestream the Ceremony
If you are unable to attend the ceremony we will post a Livestream for those that wish to support us in other parts of the world. Link will be posted below when it is accessible the day of the wedding.
