Our story began through mutual friends in June 2022 on the sand volleyball courts. We played two seasons together, enjoying the sport and, admittedly, a bit of playful flirting along the way. Despite the chemistry, it took a little nudge from Hinge to give Max the courage to finally ask Meghan out.

Our first date was an afternoon of mini-golf, with a friendly wager — the loser would buy drinks. Of course, we tied, and to determine the winner we decided to head to the bowling alley. Unfortunately, it was league night, but we didn’t let the night stop there. We ended up enjoying drinks and conversation, getting to know each other better, and by the end of the night, it was clear that this was the beginning of something special.

Fast forward to early 2023. We spent the New Year at a Green Bay Packers game, and in that moment, surrounded by the energy and excitement, we knew this was a bond that could last a lifetime!

2023 turned out to be an incredible year. We traveled, made unforgettable memories, met each other’s friends and families, and, most importantly, grew closer as a couple. Each new adventure strengthened our bond and reaffirmed how lucky we were to have found each other.

Then, Memorial Day weekend 2024 arrived — and it was a day to remember! We spent the day doing all of our favorite things: boating, eating cheese curds, riding the motorcycle, playing pickleball, and ending the day with a wonderful celebratory dinner in Title Town. However the most memorable part of the day happened on the sand volleyball court, where Max got down on one knee and proposed. It was truly the perfect day!

We are both so incredibly blessed that God brought us together. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for us as we begin this next chapter and make a lifetime of memories together!
