Our Wedding

Despite us both growing up in the same county, and even our families attending the same church, it took us being over 300 miles from home for our paths to cross when we were both seniors at Virginia Tech. We were introduced through mutual friends at a bar in Blacksburg, Top of the Stairs, and have been together since! After graduation, we both moved back to Maryland and eventually made Baltimore our home, along with our favorite golden retriever, Phil!

Transportation

Transportation will be provided to and from the venue and the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Holiday Inn Express on wedding day, as well as to the Jetty following the reception for the informal after party. If you're staying at the Best Western, please use the Hilton as your transportation meeting point, as it is just a short walk away. Buses will leave from the Hilton Garden Inn at 3:30pm and then have a stop at the Holiday Inn which will depart for the wedding at 3:40pm. The buses will not be doing a second loop. For guests staying at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, the hotel will have a sprinter van doing loops which you can pick up outside the hotel lobby. If hotels are not your preference and you would like to book an Airbnb, we encourage you to be prepared to rent a car or schedule private taxis, as Ubers are not as available in Kent Island. Hotel Room Blocks

There are a limited number of hotels in the area so we encourage you to plan accordingly if you plan to stay within one of the room blocks below! Transportation to and from the wedding will be provided for the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn Express

There are a limited number of rooms available at The Inn. Guests can make their reservation by calling the front desk and asking for a room in the Owens/Logue room block. Please note that unsold rooms in the block will return to the hotel's general inventory on 8/27/25.

Reservations can be made through the link below or by calling the Hotel Reservations at 877-782-9444. Individuals must identify themselves as being with the group Owens/Logue Wedding at the time the reservation is made in order to receive the special group rate. Please note that unsold rooms in the block will return to the hotel's general inventory on 9/10/25. Traveling by Plane

Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is approximately 45 minutes from the wedding venue. Please note that Ubers are not as available in Kent Island so if traveling by plane, we recommend renting a car or booking a private taxi to the airport.

Waterfront Restaurants on Kent Island

St. Michaels is a cute little historic town with lots of charm. Talbot Street, the main road, has plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and a maritime museum. You can also check out the Inn at Perry Cabin where Wedding Crashers was filmed!

Saint Michael's

Right over the Bay Bridge is historic downtown Annapolis. Walk Main Street, shop, eat, and enjoy gorgeous waterfront views. Keep in mind traffic on the Bay Bridge can be heavy on weekends so please give yourself plenty of time to make it back for wedding events!

Highly recommend for a walking or running trail. Great views of the Bay Bridge and access to a small beach.

Kent Island Trail at Terrapin Nature Park

15 minutes from the venue is the Queenstown Harbor Golf course. If you are looking to get a round in over the weekend, book a tee time here!

Right down the road is the waterfront Love Point Winery. Enjoy some wine and charcuterie with a beautiful view!
