Our Wedding

Meghan and Sean met in March of 2022 and immediately hit it off. They began dating and had to date long distance for the first few months after Meghan graduated and moved home. In July 2022, Meghan moved to Dayton to begin her teaching career. From then on, the couple grew stronger and stronger in their relationship. They enjoyed things like traveling (more than anything), cooking together, hiking, working out, and hanging out with their friends. In June 2023 the couple moved into their first apartment together and a few months later on October 13, Sean proposed at the top of Mount Washington in Pittsburgh. The couple was elated to begin the rest of their lives together- the first step being getting a puppy! In February 2024 the couple brought home Lady May, a labradoodle. Their "normal" lives quickly changed to revolve around the schedule of an 8 week old pup, but they loved every minute of it! The couple continues to reside together in their apartment enjoying the same activities but also adding wedding and honeymoon planning. The couple cannot wait to celebrate their special day with you and for you to witness their love!

Things To See

The Strip District is a must see when visiting PGH. It is a half square mile shopping district and indoor terminal hosting authentic grocers, food stands, restaurants, and PGH memorabilia. Some of the best places to visit within the Strip: Puttshack (extreme indoor mini golf), City Winery, Primantis, Delucas, Pamela's Diner, Mon Aimee Chocolat, Yinzers, and the Pennsylvania Macaroni Company. Strip District Terminal

Take a ride on a century old cable car that takes you to the top of Mount Washington! Here, you will experience lookouts that allow for the best views of the city. Fun fact, this is actually where Sean proposed to Meghan! See the website for details regarding parking and logistics.

Duquesne Incline

Take a walk along the north shore for fantastic views of the city as well as lots of great restaurants along the way. The bride recommends parking near Acrisure Stadium, beginning at the Mister Rogers Memorial and walking the riverfront trail from there.

North Shore Riverfront Park

Visit the point and stand at the tip of the Pittsburgh peninsula for beautiful views. You will get to experience the iconic Pittsburgh Point Fountain and all of its glory. This is a great photo spot! Also, often during the summer there are food trucks and live music to enjoy!

Point State Park

Visit the museum of the pop-art icon, Andy Warhol. Here you will find an extensive collection of archives from the Pittsburgh artist. It is the largest museum in North America that is dedicated to one artist!

As a Pittsburgh Smithsonian museum, the Heinz History Center features six floors of artifacts and history. Here you can learn about the history of Heinz ketchup, the Pittsburgh steel industry, Mister Rogers, the regions contribution to the Apollo 11 landing, Pittsburgh sports, and the Underground Railroad.

If you love meatballs, you'll love Sienna Mercato. The three story restaurant offers a variety of fun food and drinks to enjoy and is one of the bride's favorites! The rooftop is amazing!

For a fun Pittsburgh dining experience, check out the Grand Concourse. Located in Station Square, the restaurant- which used to be an old train terminal- offers beautiful views of the city from across the river.

You'll want to try their hotcakes while here- it's what they're famous for! They are uniquely as thin as a dime but all around delicious! You don't want to skip out on this awesome spot.
