Neither of us ever expected to meet someone through online dating... it felt like a fairy tale, a myth. But we both decided to give it one last try with Bumble. I (Meghan) almost swiped left, thinking Timothy might be too into fitness because of his Spartan races. He was incredibly handsome and seemed wonderful, but I worried he wouldn’t be interested in someone who wasn’t as outdoorsy. Luckily, a close friend encouraged me to swipe right. “You never know,” she said. Well… good call, right?We matched, started talking, and quickly exchanged numbers. Not long after we began texting, Timothy asked me out for Friday, March 29, 2024, which I happily obliged to. He chose Boatshed in Bremerton, close to where I lived, and that showed me that he was willing to travel to me. He arrived early and snagged us a table outside on the water. In the middle of dinner, a seal popped its head out of the sound. Since seals are my favorite animal, I took it as a very good sign.After dinner, we wandered around Manette for hours, talking about everything... our interests, places we wanted to travel, what we hoped for in the future. We even swapped dating horror stories and bonded over how chaotic the dating scene can be. Around 10 p.m., he walked me to my car, and I drove him to his. That’s where we shared our first kiss before saying goodnight. Moments later, I called my friend and my sister to tell them I had just met my future husband.We officially became a couple on April 21, 2024.Things moved naturally and joyfully from there. We quickly introduced one another to friends and family, and before long people were already asking when we planned to get married. Our first trip together was to Ithaca for my cousin’s wedding, where everyone instantly adored him. Soon after, we traveled to Texas for the Renaissance Faire with his friends, which was an unforgettable adventure.In 2025, we spent nearly all our free time making memories, traveling, trying new things, and simply enjoying being together. We visited California, Montana, and Idaho for Spartan races (and to see some of my friends!). We went to Las Vegas twice with two different friend groups. And we capped the year with a big family trip to Florida, where Timothy met the extended family who couldn’t attend the wedding in Ithaca.September 21, 2025We planned a simple date night out, not realizing at first that it happened to be exactly one and a half years since we became official. We went to The Melting Pot in Tacoma, mostly because I was craving melty cheese. When we arrived, I noticed a single red rose and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting at the table. I had a feeling something special was coming… and I was right. Timothy proposed, and of course, I said yes.These past years have been a beautiful journey, one neither of us expected when we opened that app for “one last try.” But we found our person, our partner, our future. We absolutely can’t wait for the life we’re building together!

Timothy has known Aaron since 3rd grade (that's a long time!) They have been through thick and thin. They have enjoyed many vacations together; Germany, Costa Rica, Texas, Las Vegas, to name a few! A true friend that honestly cares about Timothy.

One of Meghan's best friends since High School. They don't get to see each other much due to distance, but every time they do, they make more wonderful memories! Recent favorite memory, the Power Tool Race Finals!

Tracey McCloskey

Timothy and Bishop have been military pals since 2009. They met at JBLM where they totally did NOT wreck military vehicles on purpose (it's the potholes, they swear!) They got into some crazy stuff together.

Meghan is part of the reason we are all here... She's the one who told Meghan to try swiping right! Deep conversations, great jokes, and fun times. They have been there for each other through many bumps in the road and heartaches. Meghan knows she can count on Meghan!

Timothy met Jason through a board game night with friends! They usually play video games every Friday! They enjoy going to Las Vegas with their friend group as well. Jason knows how to have a great time, no matter what's going on!

Tara and Meghan met at Clearwater Casino in the mid 2000s and instantly became best friends... oh the inside jokes they share! They've had so many fun adventures! Ask Tara about the grasshopper!

Well this guy is an easy one. It's Timothy's good ol' cousin, Steve! You can always catch them hanging out at the Spartan Races, hitting up the obstacle courses! And we can't forget the Stein Run! They are a bunch of health nuts!!

Meghan met Rebecca through Timothy. During the groups vacation to Texas, they bonded fast over 4 bottles of wine! Great duo on vacations, and know how to have fun! Such a sweet and caring individual!

Patrick, or Pizza Lord, and Timothy met through Meghan's gaming group. He moved up to Washington recently and they have become fast friends. He is also dating Meghan's twin, Eryn, so they all spend a lot of time together. The bromance is real!

Timothy's co-worker at Western State Hospital. Rob has kept Timothy sane all these years at the job, which is saying something considering what they do. They have each other's back... (but Timothy should really return it!!)

The main man that will marry us. Tim met him while doing the Spartan races; helping each other out and pushing their limits together. We all also help out with Dealers of Hope, an amazing organization that helps people with day to day problems compete.

This is a Summer Garden Wedding, with an undertone of Lord of the Rings. Please be tasteful. Be polished and stylish, but not overly dressy or casual. Colors are flexible.
