We met on the Ski Team at Virginia Tech in the fall of 2013.

We began dating during the 2014 spring semester.

Max graduated from Virginia Tech with his Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

Max and I went on our first vacation together. We visited the Outer Banks and New Smyrna Beach with our families.

Labor Day was our last holiday together before Max moved out to Seattle for his Master's and PhD at the University of Washington. I still had four years left at Virginia Tech.

I visited Max in Seattle for the first time during my winter break. We visited one of the city's many scenic parks.

I visited Max over summer break and we travel to Vancouver. It was my first time in Canada.

We traveled throughout Spain before I began my study abroad semester in Switzerland.

Max visited me while I was studying in Chicago for the semester.

I graduated from Virginia Tech with my Bachelor of Architecture.

We traveled to Norway just before moving in together.

Max and I explored the Pacific Northwest together, including Canon Beach in Oregon.

Max and I went on many hikes together, including this one called Heather Maple.

We experienced our first snow storm in Seattle together. It's unusual for Seattle to get snow!

Max and I traveled with our friends to San Francisco and the Sonoma wine region.

Our cat Ski entered our lives in 2020. She experienced snow for the first time in 2021.

Kelly came to join us in the Pacific Northwest in 2020 and enjoyed her new companion Ski.

Max and I said our farewell to Seattle by hiking the Enchantments in one day (21 miles).

Max and I moved back to Virginia by taking a road trip across the country. Our cats joined us for the adventure.

Max and I got engaged!

Max and I traveled with our friends to Malaysia.
