Come join Beth El's Friday evening services for Shabbat led by Cantor Melanie Blatt!

Diane and Phil Potts and Alvin and Risa Schuster are pleased to invite you to Melanie and Andrew's Auf Ruf. The Auf Ruf is a celebration that takes place in the synagogue the Shabbat before the wedding as part of the regular Shabbat service. The bride and groom are called up to the Torah for an honor called an aliyah. “Auf Ruf” in German means, “to be called up.” After the Torah is read, candy is thrown at the bride and groom. Kiddush luncheon served following the service.
