Melanie’s forever best friend since high school. They’ve been through everything together and still call themselves the “gf’s.” They’ve been long distance besties since graduating high school, until June 2024 when Mikaila also moved to Charlotte!

Carter’s older brother, they’ve spent countless hours together in the woods hunting, on the water fishing, and in the yard playing sports. Melanie struggled to understand the fishing addiction the King family has. She inevitably will get annoyed with Carter and Bennett by the third day of Florida vacations, due to the endless hours spent fishing.

Roommates all four years of college, Mel and Vanessa were so inseparable at Marquette that everyone thought they were sisters. Vanessa always encourages Melanie to step outside of her comfort zone - like when she convinced her to join a sorority!

Melanie and Nikki’s friendship goes way back to grade school at St. John’s. Nikki and Melanie have been through lots of life stages together, from middle school, to mission trips, cheering each other on through PA school, and now both live in Charlotte!

Neighbors with Melanie and Carter in Charlotte, Anna is Mel’s real-life Friends neighbor across the hall! They share a love for Poppi sodas and random Target runs.

Sam and Carter spent many mornings in the gym doing nothing but bench press throughout high school. Their drive for incomplete, unbalanced workouts created a friendship that’s lasted for 10+ years.
