The welcome party will take place at CherryStones in downtown Bar Harbor within walking distance of most of the recommended accommodations. We planned our Welcome Party as a way to visit with our guests. We understand that all of our guests are traveling to spend this special weekend with us and we couldn't be more thankful! We hope that this will allow our friends and family to meet one another while enjoying light appetizers, live music and start the celebration early with us. The attire will be casual as most of our guests will be arriving that afternoon/evening. We want you to come as you are and are looking forward to welcoming you to our wedding weekend!

Our ceremony will take place outdoors and our cocktail and reception will take place indoors. We ask that our guests keep in mind that although July is typically a warmer month, the forecast on the ocean can vary so please plan accordingly for weather.

We are so excited that our wedding day will start earlier than most although it may not be traditional. We wanted to spend a majority of our wedding day with each other and celebrate the fact that all of our favorite people are together at once.

We'd love for each our guests to be able to make it, we completely understand that things come up and summer is a busy time for everyone. If you've received your save-the-date and know that you're unable to make it, we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible. Wish we could invite everyone including children, unfortunately our venue has a very strict guest count. Aside from our flower girls and ring bearers, we are kindly asking for no children at our wedding. The same goes for additional guests who were not addressed on the invitation. If you’re travelling with additional family members or children, they are more than welcome at our Welcome Party and After Party as we have flexibility on our guest count. Please reach out to us before to let us know how many additional guests to expect at one or both events.
