Acadia National Park is one of our favorite places to visit in Bar Harbor! If you've never been or it's been years since you've been previously, we suggest you take advantage of the park while you're in town. Each car must have a registered pass to enter and can be purchased in the link provided. If you'd like a venture up Cadillac Mountain while you're in the park, Vehicle Reservations Reservation are now required and must be made in advance as it will be sold out on the day of.
This is a must do while in Bar Harbor, this level walking path follows the shore of Frenchman Bay. It passes The Bar Harbor Inn and several historic homes. The Porcupine Islands, Balance Rock, Egg Rock Light and the Schoodic Peninsula are just a few of the coastal sights along the way. This is a leisurely family-friendly stroll for all ages.
There are lots of unique shops to check out on Main St.. Within walking distance from each of our venues, you'll find ice cream, clothing, gifts, restaurants, souvenirs, jewelry, coffee shops, breweries, art stores and other coastal treasures.

This cruise is one to put on your itinerary while in Bar Harbor! This cruise features some of the most beautiful places in Acadia and unique island lighthouses! On this cruise you'll stop at the mouth of Somes Sound and see lighthouses such as Egg Rock, Winter Harbor, Baker Island and Bear Island. You'll also take in all the National park highlights and look for wildlife such as, seals, eagles, harbor porpoise, and a variety of seabirds!

Oli's Trolley is a great way to get around town. This is an easy way to see more of the island without the hassle of parking or traffic. They make multiple stops around town including Acadia National Park!
