Our Wedding

His: Our love story began on a church event where I was playing the bass and she was singing. The more I heard her sing , the more I fell in love. After the service I told Mary to introduce her to me but she said NO , to do it myself , so me without hesitation I went to her and said “Meliany, God Bless You, I just wanted to tell you that I love how you sing, you sing beautiful” and after that I left quick without telling her my name or anything 😂. Even though I thought I blew it ,I didn’t . I found out she liked me too but I still had one problem, I didn’t have no way to reached out to her plus I didn’t dare to ask for her number. Months passed, till one day I texted Mary and told her about a dream that I had with Meliany , then I told her” I’m gunna marry her “. Mary ask me if I wanted her number and I said yeah but deep inside I was nervous. I took like a whole hour to txt her , but I did it 🙌🏻🙌🏻 and the rest is history, I guess dreams come true after all . Her: The love story began here for me. I had a worship practice. As I walked into the church I noticed someone different playing the bass. Truly, I thought to myself he’s so handsome and so confident. Immediately as I was done with my part of the practice. I ran upstairs of the church super excited to my mom. I said to her with such a smile “Mom, I need you to come down. My husband is here.” She laughed and came down to see. She said “Let’s Pray!” So I stayed hopeful, kept it to myself, and prayed to God. Later on, I was at the event he had to play at and I had to worship too. The event was over and I hear from behind someone say my name. “Meliany! Meliany!” it was him. I smiled steadily. Him not knowing that I was jumping on the inside. He told me with such a great big smile “Meliany, God Bless You, I just wanted to tell you that I love how you sing, you sing beautiful.” I left quickly knowing “Yes, he’s going to be my husband.” I prayed some more and waited a little more. Lastly, as I got on my knees praying for him. Ding! 📲 I get the best unexpected text of my life. “God bless Meliany, this is Luis…” I prayed for him as my secret love language. I will forever continue to pray for him. Prayer is the key that will always bring us together. That’s how our love story truly unfolded with God at the center working! ♥️

Marie is Mel’s younger sister. They have been best friends their whole lives. She is Mel’s personal hype woman and mediator. Marie is most likely going to be laugh crying at the wedding.

Nangie is Mel’s little sister (aka her Baby). Nangie has been Mel’s honest comfort and source of peace. She always has Mel’s back and is very protective of her. Nangie will most likely have the good snacks for the bride and groom.

Yeisie is Mel’s everything from being her Pastor, teacher, missionary partner, and her Bestie. Yeisie has been present for most of the bride’s life. She will most likely be balling her eyes out at the wedding. As well as getting you to move and have some fun at the reception. 

Yeisie Mateo

Mari has been in the lives of the groom and bride for a long time. Mari is literally the sweetest person ever and has the most contagious laugh. She will most likely be making the bride crack up.

Genesis is the groom’s cousin. Genesis has shown the bride nothing, but love and kindness. She will most likely be creating a calming presence with her smile at the wedding. 

Genesis Rodriguez

Kary is Mel’s best friend basically their whole lives. Kary is Mel’s personal therapist and favorite pianist. They enjoy making music together. At the wedding, Kary will most likely be making sure everything is organized while holding her baby Nailah.

Kate has been the bride’s Best Friend literally forever. Kate is the most positive person ever and a great mother to Gig. She will most likely be giving the best compliments to everyone at the wedding.

Keishla is the groom’s sister. Keishla is the groom’s bank…. lol She is always willing to give without expecting anything in return. At the wedding, she will most likely be taking lots of photos.

Angel and Luis have known each other almost their whole lives. Angel is the groom’s cousin. At the wedding, if Angel is near the groom they will most likely be dying of laughter.

Daniel is Luis’s primo hermano. Daniel and the Groom are brothers who look nothing alike. At the wedding, Daniel will be making sure the Groom looks his Best while making him laugh.

Angel also known as Davie is the bride’s only big Brother. Davie is Mel’s biggest supporter and love bug. At the wedding, Davie will most likely be crying during the ceremony.

Samuel is the groom’s family. Samuel is always there for the groom even when it’s last minute for haircuts. Before the wedding, he will most likely be giving a last minute haircut to Angel Perez….. Like always!!! lol

Stanley is the bride’s brother. Stanley is part of the girl gang. Stanley is the sweetest and extremely funny. At the wedding, Stanley will most likely be holding Nailah and talking about basketball.

Eliezer is Luis’s younger brother. Eliezer is a great father of two. At the wedding, Eliezer will most likely be chasing his children at the reception.

Jose Díaz Jr is the groom’s brother in law. Jose Díaz Jr is a great father and a friend to the groom. At the wedding, Jose will be trying to make people laugh with his dry jokes…. lol
