Ybor City, once the cigar capital of the world, is a vibrant neighborhood in Tampa that boasts an exciting nightlife and delicious food. You can explore the historic district on a walking tour to learn more about the architecture and immigrant history, or indulge in a food tour that takes you to Latin and soul food restaurants.
Ybor City is known for boutiques and vintage shops on 7th Avenue, which also hosts Cuban and Latin American eateries. The Centro Ybor mall offers indie fast food, bars, and a cinema. Housed in a 1920s bakery, Ybor City State Museum has exhibits on the cigar industry and the area’s immigrant communities.

The TECO Line Streetcar System is a 2.7-mile electric heritage streetcar line connecting Downtown Tampa, Channel District, and Ybor City. Service is free seven days a week to 11 covered wheelchair-accessible stations every 15 minutes.
Pirate Water Taxi offers daily tours of Tampa with many stops located along the route near attractions, museums, restaurants & parks! Simply buy tickets at the home dock (Stop #7 – Convention Center), online, or after boarding the taxi at any stops located in Downtown Tampa. Once purchased, you will receive a Pirate Water Taxi wristband which allows you to hop on and off the taxi at any stop for unlimited rides – all day! These wristbands also give you discounts with a number of venues located on the route as part of our Pirate Perks Program.
