Stuart and Melissa first met in high school at Garibaldi Secondary in Maple Ridge. They started as classmates and casual friends, gradually becoming closer as their friend groups merged. After a brief relationship in 2010, they went their separate ways, each having their own experiences, but always maintaining mutual friendships. Over time, they reconnected, realizing they shared many values and interests, including a love for concerts & breweries. By late 2017, they started spending more time together, and by 2018, they were officially back together, happier than ever.

During the pandemic, they moved in together, and their bond grew even stronger. After three years of living together, they both knew they wanted to spend their lives together. In December 2023, Stuart proposed to Melissa in a beautifully lit park after a relaxed day that included one of their favorite breweries Taylight, and a spontaneous dinner at a new restaurant. It was a perfect, intimate moment that they will cherish forever.

As they approach their wedding day, they are filled with excitement and gratitude for the love and support they’ve received from friends and family. Their journey together has been filled with growth, love, and shared memories, and they know this is just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
