Our Story

It is still being written

Every great love story has a beginning, and ours started in the most unexpected way, with a swipe on a dating app. Our first encounter was a simple, a chance meeting that neither of us saw coming. Yet, from that very first moment, there was an undeniable connection, a spark that hinted at something special waiting to grow between us.

We often reminisce about our first conversation, how nervous laughter quickly turned into comfortable banter. I remember the way your eyes lit up when you spoke about your passions, and how easily you made me feel at ease. It didn't take long before our casual chats became lengthy conversations, each one revealing more about who we were and what we dreamed of.

As days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, our bond deepened. We explored new places together, celebrated big milestones, and found joy in the not so quiet moments, sharing a meal, watching sunsets, or simply walking hand in hand. Every day was a new adventure, and together, we created a world filled with laughter, trust, and unwavering support.

No journey is without its obstacles, and ours was no exception. We faced challenges that tested our patience and understanding. But with every hurdle, we chose to grow stronger together. Our love was not just in the good times, but in our resilience and willingness to weather life's storms side by side.

What makes our love story special are the little things, the inside jokes, the handwritten notes, the late-night talks, and the shared dreams. It's in the way we encourage each other, celebrate our differences, and cherish the time spent together. These small moments have woven the fabric of our partnership, making our story uniquely ours.

As we look to the future, we know our story is still being written. There will be new places to discover, new milestones to reach, and more memories to make. Whatever comes our way, our love will continue to guide us.

FORMAL

Q & A

Do I need a passport/visa?

No. Puerto Rico is part of the US. You do not need a passport or Visa.

What's the best airport to use?

The airport you should be flying to is SJU. https://aeropuertosju.com

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place at Catedral de San Juan Bautista. We will then cross the street to El Convento where we will have cocktail hour before the reception in the main hall.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

December in Puerto Rico offers ideal, pleasant weather with daily highs around 83–84°F, cooling to comfortable low 70s°F at night. It marks the start of the dry season, where we usually have lower humidity and 8 hours of daily sunshine, making it excellent for beach activities despite occasional short showers.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

If you stay in Old San Juan during your visit, everything is within walkable distances. If you decide to stay out of old San Juan, I recommend renting a car or you can use Ubers as well. A U.S license is valid in Puerto Rico. Please know that Puerto Rico uses the Metric System. (everything will be in Meters, Kilometers, ext)

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is on-site parking and numerous parking lots throughout the city. However you must pay a parking fee.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions

When we open our RSVP for guests, you will have the opportunity to state any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.
