Whitney Gusfa - Maid of Honor
When it came to deciding my maid of honor, I knew immediately that I would be asking Whitney. We’ve been planning each other’s bachelorette parties since we met at Massage school back in 2010. We have been by each other’s side this past decade through it all. Break ups, make ups, heart aches , moves, graduations, laughing endlessly. You name it, we've gone through it all together. She'll say that I push her to go outside her comfort zone with social situations, yet she is the one that encourages me to be true to myself and not to be afraid to be open with people. There is no one else like her, and I'm honored to have her by my side.
Cris Dorchak - Best Man
When thinking about a best man, there was only one option, my big brother Cris. As much as I hate to admit it, I have always looked up to him. He has been a role model for me ever since I could remember. He has taken on difficult challenges and always come out on the other side, from joining the Divine Child football team his senior year to get in shape for the fire academy, completing the fire academy, joining the U.S.C.G., finishing his EMT/Paramedic and now becoming a realtor. Over the last few years, we have taken the country by storm traveling to new cities and visiting college football venues. Those have been some of the best moments in my life and I wouldn't have anybody else be by my side on this special day.
Hannah Suchodolski - Bridesmaid
Hannah and I met multiple times at the end of high school through mutual friendships... but we really became friends in 2011 after Pamela's 21st birthday. Hannah is one of those rare individuals whose heart is as big as the universe. She is someone you can always rely on and someone who will be completely honest with you. She has opened me up to many different vegan delights and have gone on many adventures together. Nothing will beat a Punk music concert, reminiscing high school emo music in Detroit!
Don Moran - Groomsman
BDD! Where do I even begin with this guy? We were crosstown junior football league rivals playing for the Dearborn Lions, but have settled as best friends. We both attended Sacred Heart and Divine Child High School, respectively. We have shared so many great moments whether traveling on a cruise through Haiti and Jamaica, our demoralizing banter about Michigan football and through our intense PSMFFL. Even though my incredibly hard-working friend has moved to Houston, he was a no-brainer to be in the wedding!
Pamela Schou - Bridesmaid
Pamela and I met at her 21st birthday, and from that day our lives changed for the better. With so many memories to share, we are lucky to live so close to each other and be able to spend out summers together out at Gun Lake! Pamela is one of the absolute nicest most honest people you will ever meet (except if you are playing any game.. then she is out for blood!) She is truly one of a kind and I am so lucky to have her be apart of such a special day!
Kenny Hintze - Groomsman
Oh boy, this guy is a good one! I first met Kenny at Sacred Heart and we became good friends. We played baseball and basketball together and even though we went to separate high schools and colleges, we have remained close, no matter the distance between us. Over the last few years, we have become even closer and I will never take our friendship for granted! He has had me in tears of laughter so many times in my life, he's a good guy, not a greaaaat guy. Go Blue!
Michelle Bird - Bridesmaid
I've known Michelle since middle school sports and with being close friends with her brothers, Patrick and Daryl. Our friendship became close when Daryl and Pamela started dating. We've seen each other go through highs and lows but will always be there for each other when we need it the most. Michelle is very ambitious and an extremely dependable friend. She is not afraid to go after something new and make a change, and I absolutely love that about her!
Davey Childs - Groomsman
I first met Davey Childs in CYO football playing for Divine Child, but we became good friends in high school. We were both quieter guys and we got along real well. Davey has always had my back and we've spent some great times together. We have been Deep Sea fishing off the coast of Key Largo, saw the Lions play in Chicago after a longer night of cocktails and even experienced Michigan literally fumble away a game at the Big House vs. MSU. Thanks for being there for me on a great day, Davey Gravy!
Alyssa Dorchak - Bridesmaid
I met Alyssa when Scott and I started dating in 2017. I've enjoyed getting to know her these past few years and already refer to her as my sister-in-law! I am lucky to be gaining a sister who shares similar interests and hobbies! We've been able to bond running in the Turkey Trott and kayaking at Houghton Lake. Anyone who knows her, knows she has a genuine heart. I am honored to be gaining a beautiful sister!
Quade Newton - Groomsman
Quade Daddy! This guy is a real one and I knew that after Day 1 of nursing school. We got through that grind because we could count on each other and I knew he was a man of special character. I didn't know my favorite memory of Quade would be on our boys trip to the West side of Michigan. With a more than needed amount of adult beverages, who would have thought a 12-pack of Coke was needed on the beach? Thanks for out-smarting the DNR. Watch out for this guy, big things are on the horizon!
Reese Dorchak - Flower Girl
RC is going to steal the show! This little ball of joy was a no-doubter when we thought about having a flower girl. Don't let her shyness fool you, she is a big-hearted, adventurous little girl whose smile will melt you in a blink of an eye. Thank you to Reese Cup for making Uncle Scott and Aunt Missy so happy during this special time.
