Redstone is one of Melissa's favorite places to hang out in the area. The general store has delicious burritos and soups and many weekends has pop up live music.
There are many trails accessible from Redstone. One of Melissa & Bryan's favorites is the Coal Basin. Also a great place to take kiddos for a swim and a bike ride.

Driving from Glenwood Springs to Vail is a 1.5 hour drive towards Denver. It is a perfect place to explore on your way in or out of town if you are flying into Denver.
Melissa is the Development Directors at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and invites you to visit the beauty of the Gardens in the fall. Nestled at the base of Gold Peak ski area, the aspens will dance across the mountain with their colors of gold and orange. While in town, take a meandering stroll down Gore Creek and explore the euro style alpine village of Vail.

The old railroad line runs from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. Rent a bike and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Stop at the Woody Creek Tavern where Hunter S Thompson used to hang out.
