Can we bring our kiddos to your wedding?
Yes! Please just let us know before September 1, 2025 if the kids will be joining us so we can include them in our guest count. There will be kid-friendly activities and food. Please also let us know of any dietary restrictions.
Will there be vegetarian options in your BBQ feast?
Yes! Some of the appetizers and sides are vegetarian-friendly, and we will also have Veggie 'Que. When you RSVP, please just indicate if you prefer vegetarian option, so we can have enough Veggie 'Que available.
Are you planning any other activities before or after wedding day?
Yes! On October 21, 2025, for anyone in town, we are tentatively planning a “Bachelor’s Last Stand” and a “Ladies Let Loose” with a day of Jeep/ATV rides, spa experiences, and general merriment.
On the evening of October 22, 2025, we are having a Welcome Dinner at Belfry Brewery in nearby Cottonwood, AZ to welcome all of our lovely guests who traveled so far to celebrate with us. Vegetarian options provided. Please RSVP by September 1, 2025 if you want to join us. All are welcome!
On October 24, 2025, we are riding the Verde Canyon Railroad (1:00 pm to 4:45 pm), and booked a 26-person private car, the Santa Fe Belle. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in joining us for any of the above activities and events! You can contact Melissa directly at mvk2009@gmail.com or by texting (914) 671-1019.
I am traveling by plane into Phoenix and not planning on renting a car. How can I get to Sedona?
No problem! There are airport shuttles from PHX to the wedding venue, and if you are staying in a hotel in Sedona, they may have free shuttles. Check out Groome Airport Transportation (www.groometransporation.com/sedona/) or Vitesse Sedona (www.vitesseworldwide.com, 636-432-6875). Please also feel free to reach out to Melissa ahead of time and we will figure it out together!
We will be traveling with our pet(s) to Sedona. Are there any local pet-sitters?
Yes! There are local babysitters and pet-sitters available, who are also recommended by the wedding venue. Check out Sedona Nanny (www.sedonananny.com, 928-202-6682) or Special Occasion Sitters AZ (www.specialoccasionsittersaz.com, 928-451-6307, ask for Angela Medlin).
Are there any other accommodation options in Sedona besides a hotel?
Yes, plenty! There are places to park an RV and multiple campsites available through out Sedona and the local area. You should book a site well in advance, though, because October is a popular time of year to travel to Sedona. Check out Camp Spot (www.campspot.com), Cruise America (www.cruiseamerica.com), or the websites for local state and national parks or forests for campsite availability.
