Melissa and MJ’s friendship began the usual way - by stealing lunches and chirping each other on the ice. MJ is the best friend who lives 100 meters away, always ready with a hug (which Melissa never needs), a snack, or some tough love. She’s not just the maid of honour - 'Midge' is Melissa’s ride-or-die through thick, thin, and everything in between.

Erin and Melissa met in high school and clicked right away, even though they went to different schools and Erin played ringette (don’t worry, we forgave her). Erin’s mother-like instincts, next-level organization, and love for party planning have 100% benefitted this wedding (thank you, Erin)! Kody and Travis met fighting fires in Fox Vegas and immediately became best buds. Even though Travis didn't know his real name until a year ago (please ask Kody for all the nicknames Travis has for him), Ch*** has left his St. Albert roots and become a "Sturgeon County man".

Mack and Travis have known each other since elementary school and continue to hunt, ATV, canoe, and banter like an old married couple. Mack is your human encyclopedia and is willing to give you all the information on any and all topics.

With a couple extra feet on Travis, Tyler always looked after both of his brothers. Despite Travis' bruised arms, Tyler's laugh and inappropriate humour make every family dinner much more entertaining. Tyler and his fiance, Erin, added their baby, Beau, to the family. We know he will have Tyler's strength, and sure hope he has Travis' toughness.

Although Gus won't be making the wedding (though he'd PAWsitively rock a tux), he’s been with us every step of the way. Gus has finally won over Travis, who now doles out bacon grease like it is the ultimate canine currency. While Gus will be cheering us on from home, we know he’d raise a paw to toast the big day if he could.
