What time should I arrive at the wedding?
We recommend arriving at the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature by 5:00 p.m. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress comfortably while still maintaining a polished and elegant look.
Where should I park?
Free parking is available across the street from the venue in the museum garage.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Children are allowed, but only children of family members! If you have young children we request that you utilize our on-site babysitting services during the ceremony portion of the wedding. They are welcome to join cocktail hour and the reception.
Is there a hotel block for guests?
Yes! We have reserved blocks of rooms at the Marriott Springhill Suites Downtown/Riverfront and the Marriott Courtyard Bradenton Riverfront. Please visit the Travel section for booking details and links.
Will transportation be provided between the hotel and the venue?
Transportation will not be provided, but the venue is only a short walk/drive from the recommended hotels. We suggest using Uber, Lyft, or carpooling with other guests. A free garage across from the museum is available for parking.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

While we will miss you, we understand that things come up. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
What time does the wedding end?
The wedding will end at 11 p.m in order for us to clean up by midnight.

Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you'd like to send us a gift, please visit our Registry page for more information and to view our cash funds.
Is the wedding venue outside?
Yes! Our ceremony and reception will both be held in the outside courtyard area, and cocktail hour will be held inside the museum. Please plan to dress accordingly!
