Melissa worked as a nurse on a burn intensive care unit when she met Michael. Michael's dad was burning brush when he accidentally added a flammable solution that caused the fire to essentially explode, causing severe burns. Michael's dad ended up on the burn ICU where Melissa took care of him. It started off with basic small talk and conversations, but it eventually led to becoming FaceBook friends and here we are today, now happily engaged and excited to start a new chapter in their life.
