Are kids allowed?

Outside of our immediate family members, we kindly request this be an adult-only celebration. We want this to be a special night for our guests to celebrate love, relax and unwind. However, we completely understand if you are unable to find a babysitter and need to bring your little one(s). Your presence is what matters most to us!

Can I bring a plus one?

To help us accommodate all of our family and friends, we kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if it was specifically noted in your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are there hotels nearby?

We recommend staying at the AC Hotel by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott or the Canopy Hotel by Hilton in Frisco, TX (see Travel tab for more information). Although each are approximately a 25-minute drive to the venue, they are walking distance to the Star, offering easy access to premier shopping, dining, Starbucks, and a variety of other local attractions. There are other hotel and airbnbs located near Aubrey, TX if you prefer a closer stay.

Where are the nearest airports located?

Aubrey, TX is located in North Dallas right outside of Frisco and Prosper, TX. The nearest airports are Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

What is the dress code?

Semi-Formal Spring Attire

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will be held indoors, followed by an open-air cocktail hour, weather permitting. Afterwards, we’ll transition back indoors for the reception and the rest of the evening’s celebration.

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Driving is the most convenient way to reach the venue. However, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are available near and around the area, offering a reliable alternative.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is open (and free) parking at Brighton Abbey.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before we begin. Late guests will be seated in the upstairs viewing area.

Are photos allowed during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment, and our professional photographer will capture everything beautifully for us to share later.

Is there an open bar?

Yes, but please drink responsibly!

How do I pronouce the grooms last name?

Pugh is pronounced as "pew" like a church pew.

Is there a hashtag for the wedding?

Where are you registered?

Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you wish to give a gift, a registry is available for your convenience under the "Registry" tab of this website. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated!

Can I give a gift at the wedding?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a gift to the wedding! We will have a designated area for gifts at the reception.

What’s the weather like during this time of year?

In April, Aubrey, Texas, typically enjoys sunny weather with highs in the 80s°F and lows in the 60s°F. It's a beautiful time of year with mild evenings, so we recommend dressing comfortably for both indoor and outdoor portions of the day.
