If I'm flying in, which airport should I choose?
If you decide to fly in for our wedding, it would be best to use the Little Rock International Airport. This is approximately an hour and a half away from our wedding venue. You could get a rental car, Uber, or if you need help with transportation, let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to help!
I'm worried about the Southern heat. Any advice?
While our ceremony will be outside (hopefully no rain!), the reception will be indoors. We are very lucky to be getting married on a mountain, so there should be a good breeze, but we will also be providing fans and water. There is also an air-conditioned building that you can stay in prior to the ceremony starting.
Where should I stay?
While we do not have a hotel blocked off for guests, there are several good options nearby. First, our venue - Peaceful Pointe - has on-site lodging with air conditioned rooms. These can be booked through their website. Morrilton is also nearby, and although their hotel options are limited, the Holiday Inn Express would be the closest hotel chain to our venue. Finally, Conway is always a good option, offering several hotel choices (i.e., Hampton Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, or Hilton Garden Inn) as well as dining and activities for guests that arrive early.
What time should I arrive?
While our ceremony begins at 4pm, we ask that guests show up at least 20-30 minutes prior so we can get the show on the road.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Our ceremony is in a grassy area, so we would recommend sturdy shoes and no thin heels so you don't sink!
Will dinner be served?
We are so lucky to have Ridgewood Brothers BBQ catering our wedding. Food will include turkey, pulled pork, creamed corn, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. We'll have sweet tea, lemonade, and water. Also, we'll finish up the evening with cake! Alcohol will not be served at this function, unfortunately.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than Saturday, August 8th.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We're keeping the wedding mostly to family and a few close friends. Family invitations include the household members listed on the RSVP. For our single friends, we've included a plus-one, so you're welcome to bring a guest.
If you're unsure who is included with your invitation, just check your RSVP details or reach out to us.
