<p>We met at a coffeeshop in Bentonville while Rick was in town for a welding job. Our first date started with his surprisingly bold questions and ended with go‑kart racing—plenty of competition, lots of laughter, and the instant feeling that we wanted to spend as much time together as possible. After three weeks, Rick accepted a job in Florida, but distance only made us closer: late‑night calls, monthly visits, and plans that kept us connected until he moved back home. We introduced each other to family, shared small adventures, and built a life together. In December 2024, Rick had a custom ring made, and he proposed on November 22, 2025. We’re excited and grateful to celebrate our next chapter together in Solgohachia, AR, on September 5, 2026.</p>
