Meredith likes to say that October in Tucson is like March in other places...in like a lion, out like a lamb. The beginning of October is pretty much still summer, and the end of the month is bringing the cooler weather that makes Tucson winter so comfortable.

October 2024 has been extra hot, with temperatures over 100 degrees still. Please be prepared to wear sunscreen. However, dry heat means that the shade and the evening time usually makes a big difference.
