Our Story

Wedding Party

For ease of travel, we recommend that guests fly into Florence Airport (FLR), which is approximately one hour from Villa Barberino. While taxis are available, they can be limited in the Tuscan countryside, so we strongly suggest renting a car for the most convenient transportation during your stay. Additional nearby airport options include:Pisa International Airport (PSA) – approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from the villaLeonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) – approximately 3 hours from the villa Driving from Florence to the villa is straightforward highway travel, and navigation apps such as Google Maps work well throughout the region. Parking will be available at the villa. Please note that many rental car agencies recommend having an International Driving Permit (IDP) when driving in Italy. All guests will be hosted on the property at Villa Barberino for the duration of the wedding celebration. For additional details regarding room selections and reservations, please visit the “Accommodations” tab. We recommend arriving in time for the Welcome Party at Via Roma 7 on August 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM so you have time to settle in and begin the celebration with us.

Travel

We've put together a list of trusted private transportation companies that we recommend for airport transfers and getting around Tuscany. Whether you're traveling to the villa or exploring the region, these companies provide reliable service. We recommend reaching out to them directly to arrange your transportation in advance. Most are available on WhatsApp, making it quick and easy to request pricing, ask questions, and book your ride.
