For ease of travel, we recommend that guests fly into Florence Airport (FLR), which is approximately one hour from Villa Barberino. While taxis are available, they can be limited in the Tuscan countryside, so we strongly suggest renting a car for the most convenient transportation during your stay.

Pisa International Airport (PSA) – approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from the villa

Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) – approximately 3 hours from the villa

Driving from Florence to the villa is straightforward highway travel, and navigation apps such as Google Maps work well throughout the region. Parking will be available at the villa.

Please note that many rental car agencies recommend having an International Driving Permit (IDP) when driving in Italy.

We recommend arriving in time for the Welcome Party at Via Roma 7 on August 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM so you have time to settle in and begin the celebration with us.
