Michael took Angela on a trip to his hometown of Puerto Rico. While there they hiked the El Yunque Forest to Las Tinajas Falls, went nighttime kayaking to see the glowing Bioluminescent Bay, and strolled the shops and forts of Old San Juan where they tried Piragua shaved ice. They visited the fountain of Paseo de la Princessa and ate Arañitas, fried green plantains and Mofongo at Luquillo Beach! Angela was able to heard hear the sweet chirp of the Coqui frog which is native to Puerto Rico.

On Valentine's Day Michael took Angela to a romantic beachfront dinner at Ola Ocean Side Bistro at the Condado Ocean Club. Afterwards, he told Angela he wanted to walk along the shore and watch the sunset. Michael began telling Angela that he wants her to know how much he loves her and he began to get emotional. Angela didn't think anything was different as they are always "mushy" and living in their "love bubble". But this time was different...

They removed their shoes, Angela rolled up Michael's pant legs and they began to walk down the stairs of the restaurant towards the sand. Once down the stairs and taking a sharp left, Angela saw an entire proposal scene setup on the beach! Michael walked her closer to the light-up hearts, roses in the sand, MARRY ME signs, and the grand bouquet of roses while Angela was crying tears of joy and excitement! Michael got down on one knee and asked Angela to Marry him, Angela kept holding Michael's face and telling him how much she loves him. She finally said YES and he placed the magnificent sparkling ring on her finger! Michael respectfully asked for Angela's parents blessing prior to proposing.
