The ceremony and reception will be held at Ivy Rose Barn, about 25 miles south of Roanoke, VA. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the grounds (weather permitting), and the reception will be in an open-air pavilion type space.

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal/black tie optional. Think suit and tie, floor length/midi dresses, jacket and slacks. This goes without saying, but please no white or jeans.

We will have transportation to and from the designated hotel and the venue and encourage you to utilize it! However, if you are not staying at the hotel, you can drive yourself or schedule a Lyft or Uber. Due to the location of the venue, Lyft and Uber drivers may be limited so please plan accordingly. If you choose to drive, there is a free, large parking lot on the venue grounds. Cars are NOT permitted to be left at the venue overnight. Please see the 'Transportation' tab for more information.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time to park and find your seat.

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present when we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children in the bridal party. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We encourage you to use this evening as a night off to have some fun!

Yes! Beer, seltzers, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us! Get ready to party!

We have reserved room blocks at three different hotels in the area to provide our guests with multiple options of different price ranges. However, our transportation to and from the wedding venue will only be picking up and dropping off guests at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rocky Mount an IHG Hotel. Yes! A casual gathering will take place following the rehearsal dinner at Olde Salem Brewing Company in Downtown Roanoke. All guests are welcome! Guests are encouraged to come mingle with family, friends, and the couple starting around 9pm. The address for the bar is 315 Market St SE, Roanoke, VA 24011.
