Our Wedding

Everything happens for a reason. Our reason just happened to be that, for once, Mike decided to be social LOL. It was August of 2016 and we were both in college, I was a sophomore and Mike was a senior. He had just gotten off work when our mutual friend, Eric, asked if he wanted to hang out. Normally, he would’ve said no—opting instead for a night of takeout, Xbox, and Netflix. But something that day told him to say yes. Meanwhile, I was temporarily staying at Eric’s apartment with my roommate, waiting for the lease of our house to start. The moment Mike walked in, I&nbsp;just knew&nbsp;he was the one. We hit it off immediately, like we had been best friends for years. We didn't jump straight into a relationship. Instead, we remained friends for a couple of years—completely unaware that fate already had a plan. Eventually, everything fell into place, and that initial spark grew into something even more beautiful. Because everything really&nbsp;does&nbsp;happen for a reason!

The One Where Mike and Evi First Meet

Proposing has a lot of moving parts. Where do I do it? How do I do it? When do I do it? The correct answer is that none of this matters. What matters is that you are surrounded by the people you love, and the moment is special. With the help of those people, I was able to make it a night Evi would never forget. The evening started out as an ordinary date night at Top Golf. What wasn't ordinary, was that every time she went to go take her swings, I was picking up my phone, and sending updates to everyone who was at the house setting up. When we returned home, our family and closest friends had turned our backyard into a fairy tale. We walked down a red carpet, and surrounded by roses, we offically became future husband and wife!

My beautiful Koumbara, Stavroula and I have been besties since we met in Greek school at 11/12 years old (yes, we&nbsp;sometimes&nbsp;paid attention). From awkward middle school days to late-night horror movie marathons, she’s been my ride-or-die through it all. She has a heart of gold, is insanely smart, and will Ikariotiko all day long—so get ready to Greek dance! You’ll find her hyping everyone up and tearing up the dance floor, espresso martini in hand, keeping the party going!

Stavroula Kotsanis - Koumbara

My first rival, first best friend, and the Nico Hischier to my Jack Hughes. From wrestling for WWE belts as kids to yelling at our favorite teams (yes, we&nbsp;still&nbsp;do that), Anthony has always been by my side—pushing me to be better, even if it meant going toe-to-toe. Now, whether we’re sharing a beer, swapping stories, or reliving the "glory days", our bond is stronger than ever. Just don’t be surprised when he breaks out some line dancing at the wedding—boots, spins, and all!

Anthony Licata - Best Man

Gyn is the ride-or-die I never knew I needed until we met sophomore year on the quad, accepting our bids to Phi Sigma Sigma. I didn’t think we’d get along at first—wow, was I wrong! From late-night studying to dancing on elevated surfaces (we&nbsp;owned&nbsp;those dance floors) to tackling adulthood together, she’s been by my side through it all. My voice of reason, my hype girl, and my&nbsp;literal&nbsp;twin—TWO PEAS IN A POD! If you’re looking for Gina, just check the nearest elevated surface—she’s probably there!

Ginamarie Lippolis -  Maid of Honor

God knew we’d be too powerful as brothers, so he made us best friends instead. When Chris and I are together, I tap into my&nbsp;true self—carefree and full of life. One of the smartest and most well-spoken people I know, yet the second we link up, we turn into goofy teenagers again. He’s the one hyping me up to do something crazy—and the first to help clean up when it inevitably goes sideways. He's also a real life ninja and his Muay Thai kicks are faster than your reflexes (mostly in a totally friendly, non-hospitalizing way)!

Christopher Guerrero - Groomsman

My little sister and built-in best friend, Alex! Being the younger one, she’s had the perfect mix of being my biggest fan&nbsp;and&nbsp;the biggest pain (kidding… mostly). Growing up, we shared plenty of laughs, sibling squabbles, and secrets, and through it all, she’s always been my partner in crime. Alex may be younger, but don’t let that fool you—she’s got wit, sass, and a heart of gold. If you're looking for someone who will give you a good laugh and Greek dance on tables with, this is your girl!

If your favorite sitcom had a wholesome, big-hearted best friend, that’s Brandon. He’s the guy who always puts others first and was the first to take me under his wing when I needed it most. In high school, we had an open-door policy at each other’s houses—our families just knew we were a package deal. No matter how much time passes, whenever we’re together, it’s like we’re kids again. These days, Brandon’s either whipping up an amazing meal, spoiling his small but mighty pooch, or adding to his collection of tattoos. But don’t let the ink fool you—he’s still the nicest guy in the room!

Eva is the definition of&nbsp;kefi—she’s full of life, laughter, and knows how to have a good time. When I first met Steven (aka Meaty), his tough exterior and high standards made it seem like he hated me. But in reality, he was pushing me to be my best, becoming the life coach I never knew I needed. From meme exchanges, to reliving our championship glory, to wild game nights, Meaty is the ultimate big brother every guy needs. Just don’t drop a movie reference—he’s somehow never seen&nbsp;Harry Potter,&nbsp;Lord of the Rings, or pretty much anything. But he’s always ready to bond over a drink of your choice!

My amazing little, Lindsay, and one of the biggest blessings of my senior year! We met during my last semester of college when she rushed Phi Sigma Sigma, and I just knew she was the little for me. From the very start, Lindsay has been the person who inspires me to be my best self. She’s not just my little, but also my confidant, cheerleader, and lifelong friend. Maybe we relive our Frat boy basement parties just one more night, with just more class?

Shuttle Transportation

For guests who will need transportation to the ceremony at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, a complimentary shuttle service will be provided from the following hotels: AC Marriott – Town CenterHome2 Suites – Town Center Pickup Time: 3:00 PM Following the ceremony and our special bubble exit, buses will be waiting outside the church to transport guests to our reception venue, Epping Forest Yacht Club. At the conclusion of the celebration at midnight, shuttle service will return guests to their respective hotels. Buses will be stopping at BOTH HOTELS, so please make sure to exit at the right hotel! We hope this makes your day a little easier — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! ✨
