How to get to Grand Cayman and Where to Stay

Getting to Grand Cayman

Most major airlines fly to Georgetown, Grand Cayman. However because of COVID the current flight schedules are limited and you might need to fly to Miami and make a connecting flight with Cayman Airways. You must be vaccinated to enter the Cayman Islands and you will need to have a QRL verification code for your vaccination. Your USA passport must be good for 6 months beyond your exit date from Grand Cayman. Once at the airport the most convenient transportation is a rental car, however if you stay at one of the nearby resorts (Wyndham Reef or Morritt's Grand) then the available shuttle services can bring you to your resort.

All the wedding activities will be held at Michael and Nerrie's home on Queen's Highway (Spotter's Lair) or in the village of East End. There are two wonderful resorts nearby. Morritt's Resort (The Grand and the Tortuga Club) and the Wyndham Reef. Both were recently remodeled and have wonderful seaside accommodations. The Retreat at Rum Point is a new high end resort for those of you who desire a luxury vacation spot. It is about a 15-20 minute drive from our house. VRBO's are also available along the Queen's Highway for those who prefer staying in a seaside residence rather than a resort.
