From being valentines at 16, then spending 7 years apart Michaela and Ralph rekindled at 23. Michaela, being the out going social butterfly that she is, sent Ralph a Snapchat after not having any contact with him.

In response, Ralph vaguely asks her to "catch up". She agreed unsure if this "catching up" was a date or not.

They proceeded to drive 1 hour in a car together in complete silence, (neither one of them had a great conversational list.) After arriving to their destination, and having a drink or two, it was clear it was a date.

They talked about religion and politics, just normal first date small talk. Then went to a comedy club.

After a lot of laughs and some more drinks they shared another hour car ride back home. Only this time Ralph broke the silence a few times with yawns, and saying how he couldn't wait to get some sleep. Michaela, confused, finally gets home, takes her seat belt off, and right before she gets out of the car Ralph leaned in and kissed her. 2 years later on May 7, 2023 Ralph got down on one knee and asked Michaela to marry him.
