Michaela and Kyles’ love story begins in elementary school. They met when they were just kids but didn't think anything of it. Michaela remembers being in class with Kyle and his brother Beau. Kyle was the tuff, sometimes mean redheaded kid in class. Although Kyle doesn't remember much from when he was a kid, he and Michaela do remember the field trips, marble jar for getting 100% on tests, and the trips to Burger King and Round Table. He also remembers hanging out with his best friend, Anthony. Anthony lived near Michaela and whenever he and Kyle would hang out, Kyle and Anthony would always walk by Michaela's house growing up. They both had no idea that Kyles future wife was living there this entire time.

Throughout the years after that, Kyle went to other schools, but Michaela stayed at PCA. In High School, Michaela started realizing that Kyle went to Palma. Michaela went to PCA her whole high school career, but she had many friends and connections throughout Palma and Notre Dame. Michaela had actually ran in the same friend group as Kyle but they still never saw each other that much. Michaela ended up going to most of Kyles high school football games and even his high school graduation because one of Michaela's best friends graduated the same year. Michaela and Kyle followed each other on Instagram and twitter and would sometimes comment on posts. Michaela was a big fan of NASCAR and she saw that Kyle posted about being at a race. Michaela reached out to Kyle once to just ask him questions about NASCAR and a specific racetrack and to this day, Kyle thinks it was a way that Michaela was trying to get his attention.

Michaela and Kyle constantly kept running into each other throughout town, they would see each other at coffee places, restaurants, and at Palma football games that Kyle was coaching at. Michaela worked at a vet, and she then realized that Kyles sister-in-law and her family were clients, and she had seen her dog for visits a few times. A couple months later, Kyle ended up going to Michaela’s work and saw her in the parking lot. Kyle had an idea that she worked there from posts on Instagram, you can speculate that it was planned. Kyle and Michaela finally reconnected once & for all after that visit, and he asked her out. Kyle couldn’t escape Michaela & God really had his hand on their love story. The rest is history.
