How do I dress to the wedding?
We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men, or nice dark jeans with a button down.
Will it be cold?
As we are getting married during our Indian summer months, it could be a little breezy. We are getting married outside and then moving into a barn for the night. Please bring a light jacket if you feel like you would need one.
Got allergies?
The surrounding area is a heavy dirt populated area. If you have problems with allergies or dirt, please be prepared with medication. We wouldn't want your night ruined due to itchy eyes and a sneezing nose.
Are we allowed to bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Our ceremony starts at 3:00. We would love everyone to be there 15-20 minutes prior. Please keep in mind of parking and the Salinas Airshow traffic that will be happening this weekend as well.
Can I bring my kids?
Kyle & I love your little ones and we wish they could celebrate with us. Due to space & safety restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding. Please reach out to us if you have nay questions or concerns about this.
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
As Michaela has strict allergies as well (gluten, diary, egg, & soy), we made sure to pick a food vendor that has something for everyone. If you would like to let us know, please reach out to us through our phone numbers or on the RSVP card.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We have hired a wonderful photographer and videographer to capture our special day. We please ask for everyone to keep their phones tucked away for this unplugged ceremony. We promise that we will share the pictures and video with everyone in a timely manner. You are more than welcomed to bring them out after the ceremony.
I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Monterey County
Monterey county is known for its beautiful views, weather, & we do have a little gold mine of wineries around here. One of our (mostly mine) favorite places to go is the Monterey Bay Aquarium. One of Kyle’s favorite things to do is exploring Big Sur. Big Sur is definitely a favorite of ours, there is also Carmel Valley & River Road for wine tasting that we both enjoy. We hope that you make your stay into a mini vacation when you travel for the wedding.
What's the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?
Our wedding email is MichaelaKyleWinslow@gmail.com. My phone number is 831-901-6953 & Kyles is 831-737-5650
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please help us with staying organized and mail in your RSVP card that is included with your invitation. If you have any questions or problems, reach out to us.
Could you suggest places to eat while I am in town for your wedding?
Some of our favorite places to eat is Mangia in Old Town. Mangia is owned by a very special family to us, they are a delicious Italian restaurant. Alvarado on Main is also a favorite of ours. Their burgers, hot honey pizza & tacos are a favorite of ours. Smalley's BBQ on South Main Street is also a favorite since Michaela was a kid. If you are looking for more into Monterey, Alejandro’s on Alvarado is a great spot if you are looking for higher end Mexican food. You could also try Fisherman’s Grotto (our first date) or Domenico’s (engagement dinner) both on the warf.
When is the RSVP deadline?
We do need to have all the RSVP cards returned to us by September 1st. If we do not hear from you then we will have to assume that you can’t make it.
