Jack and Michaela met at Wayne State University. They were both residents of Ghafari Hall. Additionally Michaela took on a position in the office of the School of Mortuary Science of which Jack attended.

After becoming official on January 20th, 2020 they were put to the test as a pair while they navigated a new relationship during lockdown. Zoom movie dates, facetime calls, and letters became essential.

The first year of their relationship was spent learning about one another and becoming best friends. They first said " I love you" on March 23, 2020. Michaela was the first to say it.

The spring of 2021 was a big season for Jack and Michaela. Jack became a licensed funeral director at Lewis E. Wint and Sons Funeral Home. Michaela began nursing school at Wayne State University College of Nursing. Despite their new busy schedules the pair spent just about every weekend together. Taking turns meeting at Michaela's home in Wyandotte and Jack's home in Clarkston.

In February of 2022 Jack and Michaela moved in together along with their cat Mr. Sulu. Learning to live together was a challenging but exciting new adventure. Living in Madison Heights meant easy travel to plenty of fun new places.

Family time is important to both the Kennedys and Millers. Jack and Michaela have both become very close with each others families.

Michaela's Philly family is very important to her. Jack joined the Armstrong family reunion camping trip for the first time in August of 2022. After camping Michaela had the privilege of including Jack in the adventures of Wildwood, NJ. The couple are excited to continue making East Coast memories.

Now it was Jack's turn to bring Michaela along for some Kennedy shenanigans. While exploring Disney World with the Kennedy clan, Michaela had the opportunity to get a glimpse of being a full-fledged Kennedy.

In 2023 Michaela entered her final year of nursing school and the pair adopted another cat, Maeve. As the year ended Jack and Michaela began discussing their mutual agreeance that they would like to spend their lives together.

Road trips are becoming a favorite pass time of Jack and Michaela. They hope to travel throughout their lives together. This was a trip the pair took to visit their friends in Illinois!

On July 07, 2024 Jack took Michaela to the Romeo Lavender Field. As Michaela picked flowers Jack took a knee. Once Michaela turned around there was only one answer to Jack's question. Yes!
